After five nights camping in Yellowstone National Park, followed by two more nights camping at Craters of the Moon National Park, we are now back in civilization.
Such as it is.
We had a great time exploring the two national parks, which were definitely a contrast with each other -- from the snowy mountains to the sunny high desert. But we were not eaten by bears (though we did see three black bears and one grizzly), gored by bison, trampled by elk, nor did we fall into a hot spring, so I guess we got lucky.
We took tons of amazing pictures, and once I get my electronics charged and a good night's sleep, I'll get some posted (and hopefully something clever written to go with them). Until then, good night!
Job 1 when visiting National Parks... "don't get eaten by bears." Check!
